Helen Suzanne MidgettMurfreesboro, TNHelen Suzanne Midgett (Suzanne), a true angel on earth, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. To know Suzanne was to know a spiritual, selfless, warm soul, who made everyone she came in contact with a better person to have known her.Suzanne was born on March 26, 1952, in Winston Salem, N.C. but spent her days growing up in Middle Tennessee. The daughter of Molly Lou Nolen and James Blackwell Nolen (deceased), Suzanne has one younger sister, Cathy Nolen, who currently resides in Chattanooga, TN.Family was at the center of her life. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William Lee Midgett. With Lee, she created two of her greatest and most cherished accomplishments, son James Michael Midgett and daughter Amy Catherine Midgett. To her, her children were everything and she was most happy when they were in her presence. In 2014, her family expanded even further when her son and his wife Emily Cafego Midgett provided her with her first and only grandchild, Nolan James Midgett. Suzanne and Nolan not only share a common resemblance but a bond that will truly travel with her to heaven.A longtime employee at State Farm Insurance, when Suzanne was not spending time with her family, she enjoyed jewelry making, painting, sewing and making the world a better place for all those she knew.Please join Suzanne's family for a visitation on Friday, January 20 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN.
