Hellen W. Mendoza age 87, passed on at her Brothers home in Salem Oregon on January 3, 2023. Hellen was born on June 11, 1935 in Chihuahua Mexico, she was the daughter of James & Louise (Hernandez). Early in her life Helen owned and operated Johnny Boy drive Inn. She later went onto working at Linder Elementarys a Parent Representative Specialist where she helped many parents navigate their needs to helping their children. She had spent the last 24 years retired enjoying life at home with her Grandaughter Royce H. Brown And her Grandson Kelvin Smith.
She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
Helen is survived by her Brother Luis S. Mendoza, Nephew David S Mendoza, Grandaughter Royce Brown and Grandson Kelvin Smith .

Hellen was a meticulous, classy lady, who loved making things beautiful. She was always generous with her time and talents, and was loved by all who knew her. Our beautiful Grandmother is at rest now and even though we miss her very much. We know every time that we see a butterfly that she is with us providing wisdom, to the challenges that we may face. We love our Grand mother more than anyone can ever know. Granny we will see you in the future knowing that you are preparing a place for us.
