Norman, Hendrix CorganApril 13, 1996 - Aug. 29, 2016Hendrix Corgan Norman, age 20, passed away peacefully on Monday August 29, 2016 at home in Sarasota, FL. He was born on April 13, 1996 at Doctors Hospital in Sarasota, FL to Richard "Richie" Norman and Amy Anson. He was a 2015 graduate of Riverview High School and enjoyed playing football at Riverview. He worked at Dollar Tree as an assistant manager and planned to attend State College. Hendrix enjoyed being around friends and family. He was quick witted and always wanted to please everyone around him with his kindness. He loved fishing, boating, weight lifting, boxing and telling jokes. Hendrix enjoyed music and spend his pastime playing his banjo or harmonica. He leaves behind his younger siblings that he watched over and will continue to do so, his best friend and buddy, his brother Satchell and his sister Century. He is survived by his Papaw Nelson and Nanna Violet Norman, his MeMaw Linda Martin-McConnell and his Aunt Colleen "Coco" Norman, his Uncle Chris Martin (Michele) and many cousins. Hendrix's "Celebration of Life" will be held on October 2, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 8751 Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL and immediately following in the reception area for one of Hendrix's favorites: tea & crumpets, light bites to reminisce, grieve, support each other and share memories of Hendrix.
