Wirsbinski, HenreittaH. Ellen Wirsbinski, 96, Mosinee, died on Wednesday, Nov. 01, 2017, 4 days short of her 97th birthday, at Linden Grove Nursing Facility in Waukesha. She was born on Nov. 04, 1920, the daughter of the late Jesse and Henreitta (Hotchkiss) Witz. Ellen married Mark E. Wirsbinski Sr. on Sept. 30, 1939 in Mosinee, WI. He preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 1994. Ellen was an extremely loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She will be missed by her family to have come to know her as the "strong backbone of the family". Ellen was a devoted homemaker who really enjoyed cross stitching.She is survived by one son; Larry (Kerry) Wirsbinski, 7 daughters; Judy (Howard) Siegle, Joyce (Ken) Servi, Justine Morris, Kathy (John) Page, Helen (Tom) Arenz, Terry (Jeff) Dailey, Lenore (Scott) Milanovich; 31 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Ellen was preceded in death by two daughters; Janet Theisen, and Sally Podoll, one son; Mark E. Wirsbinski Jr., and 11 siblings; Eunice Nitz, Don Witz, Jesse Witz, Ruth Fink, Bob Witz, George Witz, Kate Clark, Hatie Krieg, Bud Witz, Dorothy Johnston, and May Hultz.Services will be at 12 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Norman Boneck will officiate. Burial will be at Moon Cemetery, Town of Bergen. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of services, all at the Funeral Home.
