Henry Mims Jr., 66, passed on September 02, 2021. He was born to Henry Mims Jr and Bernice Mims in Minden, Louisiana on November 28, 1954.
He married Nannie Mims in 1976 and they lived together for 45 years where they resided in Greenville,Texas. Together they raised 5 children Willie Moore (William Moore ), Jeanette Sanders, Colleen Cozine , Melinda Tucker (Leonard Tucker ), Robert Cozine Jr. Proceeded in his death (mother) Bernice Mims (father) Henry Mims Sr. He is also survived by his (sister's)Joyce & Billy McKinney of Louisiana, Claratte(Duke) & Billy Brown of California, Gwendolyn Mims of Californi, and (brother's)Ralph Mims of Louisiana, Ricky & Shelia Mims, Randy Mims, Russell & Bridget Mims of California and 12 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and a host of cousins. Henry went to Polly High School and continued his education in the US Army where he Graduated.
Herny served in the United State Army for 18 years as a E7 Helicopter mechanic were he was Medically Retired, he also worked at United States Postal Office for 18 years where he became the "Grand Pooh Ba" for being who he was... kind and passionate about people and also how he effected other peoples lives. He also was great at his job, he earned a lot of Awards for he being the person in the of whole company to never take off even when he was sick he just kept going ..... strong minded and loved his family dearly . He loved his wis wife with all of his might and will and promised her to never let any harm come to her, he protected her, he cherished her, he was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
