A memorial service for Henry G. Eyrich, 82, of Rochester, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Rochester. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Red Wing at a later date. Henry George Eyrich was born on Nov. 12, 1934, in Rochester to George and Clara (Buchholtz). He died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at St. Marys Hospital. Henry was a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with graduate work in business at Winona State University. He was an accounting major and was licensed as an Enrolled Agent by the U.S. Treasury Department. He had more than 40 years of broad business experience with Fortune 500 companies and small businesses. He has published numerous articles and has given seminars on business and tax related subjects. He is a member of NSEA, MSEA, IMA, Rochester Chamber of Commerce and BNI. Henry married Dolores Fleming on April 9, 1956, and was later divorced. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. Survivors include his children, Dr. Thomas Eyrich of Zionsville, Ind., Elizabeth Eyrich of Rochester, Julie (Alan) Wall of Rochester, Barbara Rutgers of Rochester, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials can be directed to Resurrection Lutheran Church. Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
