Henry Owen, 69, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas passed away on Saturday evening following a brief illness. He is survived by his only daughter, Andrea Lucero and husband, Ramon of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Brittny, Sabrina, and Latimer Lucero, all of Las Vegas; a great-granddaughter, Annalyse Zamora of Las Vegas; and cousins, Betty and Howard Dunbar of Las Vegas.Henry was born on March 28, 1946 to the late Jasper and Mary Ann Jones. He was a business owner, rancher and craftsman. He spent a great deal of time building handmade furniture and clocks as well as having sleepover parties with his grandkids. He also loved making his yearly trips to Mexico to visit his lifelong friends Luis and Martha Othon and their family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and his memory will live on in us all.A service celebrating his life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday from the chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd. Cremation has taken place.
