HENRY AMBROSE SCHARBACKIt is with saddened hearts that we say goodbye to a dear husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Paul's Hospital surrounded by his family. Henry Ambrose (Hieny) Scharbach was born on the farm south west of Allan, SK on January 16, 1930 to Felix and Lena (Hegel) Scharback. He attended school at Deerfield and Happy and then worked with his Dad on the farm and then with his brother Frank in the Massey-Ferguson Garage in Allan. He worked in the Sudbury mines and the oil fields outside of Edmonton. He later purchased the family farm from his parents, and started his farming career. He joined Allan Potash in 1968 in the underground maintenance dept. and advanced to supervisor position. Henry liked to be busy. He enjoyed farming, fixing things, fishing, hunting, golfing, curling, Old- Timer hockey, the Roughriders, Blue Jays and playing cards. He especially loved nature and the land. Returning from a winter in Sudbury he met and courted one of the local teachers and he and Margaret (Waldbillig) were married on October 10, 1955. They enjoyed many exciting years together raising three special sons, Gerald, Kent and Darrell. We will miss you. We thank you for a job well done. Rest peacefully.
