Herbert Kampe, Dedicated Family Man and Lifelong Patriots Fan
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Herbert Kampe, beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Herbert was born on January 3, 1941, in Waltham, Massachusetts to Herbert Edwin Kampe, Sr. and Eva Waugh Kampe. He peacefully passed away on October 8, 2023.

Together, they raised two wonderful children, Lawrence Kampe and Laurel Sumner (and spouse Thomas Sumner), who were the light of his life. He was also a proud grandfather to two cherished grandchildren, Isabelle and Emily Sumner. He is also survived by a younger brother Robert Kampe and two nephews Christopher and Erik Kampe.
Herbert attended Waltham High School and graduated in 1958. He went on to have a successful career at Moore Business Forms, where he was highly respected by his colleagues and clients.
Herbert will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family. He was a dedicated husband, loving father, and doting grandfather. He loved bowling, playing softball and watching the Patriots and Red Sox. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Herbert's battle with Alzheimer's Disease was a difficult one, but through it all, his family remained by his side, providing comfort and support. His legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Herbie was indeed a wonderful person, a wonderful man. He made my Aunt Frances so very happy in her last years as they travelled between his home in the US, her home in Cape Breton and their trips to Florida. They both loved the sunshine, the beach, ice cream and each other. It was lovely to watch the love and happiness they shared. Thank You, Herbie, for loving her and showing her such care.
