On thursday, April 1st, 2021 our precious Son, brother, uncle, father, cousin and friend Mr Herbert Mack Britt (71) tramsitioned from this life to his eternal life. He was born on January 15,1950 to the late Herbert Coly Britt and Elsie Lee Brown Britt. He attended Newsome Elementary. Mack was a hardworking man he was smart, intelligent and funny. He worked for Union Camp (International Paper) for 20 years. Also worked at Chapman Lumber Mill for 10 years. Mack later retired from Jenkins Electric Company in 2015. Mack welcomed his first child in 1972. Later married in 1974, for 27 years. After retirement mack loved to help others such as mechanic work, plumbing, electric work and almost anything you could think of, Herbert Britt was a heart of gold.

He leaves to cherish his Fiance Christine Joyner, his children Malcom Wilkerson(Portsmouth VA), Elsie sharonda Clay(Robert Clay)(South Chesterfield VA), Herbert Harris(Tara Harris)(Chester VA), Tabitha Britt(Chesapeake VA), Tonya Simmons(Portsmouth VA), Tiniya Joyner(Quintony Joyner)(Portmouth VA) JyQue'sa Joyner(Emporia VA) Xavier Joyner(Emporia VA), Wayne Joyner and Mactayla Joyner(Hopewell VA). His siblings, Lewvina Fleetwood(Fletcher Everett)(Franklin VA), Linda Hill(Franklin VA), Margaret Preau(Boykins VA).
