Herta "Maria" White, 69, of Cedar Creek, Texas, passed on July 13, 2023. Maria was born on February 13, 1954, in Schwarzenfeld, Germany to Friedrich and Anna Maria Wellisch. Maria attended Primary and Secondary school in Germany. Accepted Christ at an early age as a beloved Catholic.

While growing and finding her way in Germany, she met and fell in love with US army solider Jeffery Sauls. Maria moved to America in 1980, to which they were wed in 1984 and two children from this union were born. Maria loved to take care of people. She retired from the Texas Department of Health in 2004 after 25 years.

During her years in America, she met and fell for Claude White in 1987 and one child from this union was born. They were married until his passing in 1995. Maria loved her two beloved dogs Max and Leo, they went everywhere she did. She loved the outdoors, making firepit and sitting under the stars for hours. Taking trips to the beach with her children and grandchildren, and camping. While listening to all her good soul music. She loved to have people come out to the country. We cannot forget her with her besties during the late 80s and early 90s. Reverly, her work buddy turned best friend/godmother. Michelle, her new neighbor that showed her the turn meaning of I got your kids, they good with me. Margo, her friend that never stayed away too long. She was a great friend to her coworkers and neighbors anywhere she lived.

She is survived by her only brother Roland Wellisch and his wife Bridgette of Schwarzenfeld, Germany. Missed dearly by her beloved children Juergen Wellisch of Schwarzenfeld, Germany. Monique Sauls of Austin, Texas. Justin Sauls and his partner Susan of Pflugerville, Texas, and Coco White and her partner Clifton of Cedar Creek, Texas. 12 grandchild, Dominque, Nicholos, William, Na'Shon, Izaiah, Justin Jr., Danasia, Elijah, Josh, Aziyah, Da'Kyah and Jailee. Her only niece Tanya Wellisch of Schwarzenfeld, Germany. 2 great aunts Rosie and Martha in Germany. She was a beloved great-aunt, cousin and friend to so many.

She is preceded in death by her parents Friedrich and Anna Wellisch, as well as both maternal and paternal grandparents. Her spouse Claude White.
