We are saddened to announce the passing of Hilma Carr, who left this world on November 28, 2024, at the age of 96. Born on May 11, 1928, in Heflin, Alabama, Hilma was the beloved daughter of Dorse and Orpha Fissell. She is preceded in death by her husband James Leonard Carr.

Hilma will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Leann, Craig (spouse Becki), and Eric. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren

After graduating from Barstow High School, Hilma dedicated many years of service to the Military as part of the Civil Service. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo and reading. She retired in Montgomery All in the 1960's.

Although we will miss Hilma dearly, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. May her memory bring a smile to all who knew her.
