He was the widow of Doris Jane Richey. He was a supervisor for General Motors Detroit Allison's for 30 years retiring in 1982. He and his wife attended the Plainfield United Methodist Church, Phi Delta Kappa and Prestwick Country Club. Horace was a Navy Veteran of WWII.Survivors include his children: Rick P. Richey (Linda), Anna Jane Sonner and Samuel N. Richey. Grandchildren: Heather Richey-Walker, Rick Richey Jr., Chris Hopper and Barbara Richardson. 9 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.Calling hours will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Jim Burkes officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery Plainfield.
