Racing remote-controlled cars and spending time with his youngest son, Travis brought him great joy. He spent time visiting the sick/shut-ins in his community. He was a very neat person; he took pride in dressing well with his clothes color coordinated and accessorized. His play daughter, Denise McCree, affectionately called him "Brother Bling.
