Howard Miller, 94Howard Miller, 94, passed away Saturday evening February 25, 2017, at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 22, 2017, in Portland, Indiana the son of Paul and Pearl Miller.Howard graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1940. In 1942, he joined the Army and became a medical surgical technical in WWII. After serving his country, Howard returned home and married his loving wife Betty (Millikan) Miller, who survives. He then began working at the post office where he spent 30 years as a mail carrier and clerk.Besides his wife Betty, survivors include many wonderful nieces and nephews.Howard was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Cathy Miller, five brothers, and an infant sister.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Jim Ballenger officiating. Burial and military honors will follow at Gardens of Memory.
