Ida Violet (Dearborn) Alexandrovich passed away peacefully on Oct 26, 2016 (at age of 81) in Renton, WA after a long battle with Parkinsons disease. She was born on Dec 1, 1934 in Lemmon, SD, and graduated from Lapwai (ID) High School in 1952. After high school, she met and married the love of her life, Andrew Alexandrovich on Oct 24, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM. A long-time resident of Spokane, Ida managed the kitchen at the Salvation Army's Booth Care Center, as well as the organization's Camp Gifford kitchen facility in Loon Lake (WA). She retired from Salvation Army in 1996. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Andrew Alexandrovich, Renton, WA; children Anthony (Ming) Alexandrovich, Monrovia, CA; A. Joseph (Jeannie) Alexandrovich, Alexandria, VA; Theresa (John) Alcamo, Otis Orchards, WA; Angela (Dan) Krc, Wheaton, IL; Steven (Pam) Alexandrovich, Spokane, WA; Mary (Dwight) Whiting, Renton, WA; Paula (Cliff) Drayton, Bloomfield, NM; Peter (Elizabeth) Alexandrovich, Hayden, ID; and Tanya (Deron) Dawson, Yuma, AZ; sister Rose Russell, Spokane Valley, WA; brothers Jack Van Brunt, Omak, WA, and Rex Van Brunt, Post Falls, ID; and cousin, Agnes Moomaw, Omak, WA. She will be missed by 28 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army Center, Spokane, WA, on Dec 3, 2016 from 2 - 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army or Our Daily Bread Ministries.
