Ignacia Barrios, our beloved friend, daughter, sister, and grandmother passed away on May 30th, 2023, at the age of 83. She was born on February 27th, 1940, in the beautiful city of Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico, surrounded by family and friends.

Ignacia was known for her incredible sense of humor, her love for cooking and her willingness to help anyone in need. She was always the life of the party, and her contagious laughter will be missed by all who knew her.

Ignacia had a passion for food that was evident to anyone who tasted her cooking. Her delicious tamales, enchiladas and pozole were always the highlight of any family gathering. In fact, it was impossible to leave her house without feeling well-fed and happy.

Ignacia was devoted to her family, and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She loved to tell them stories of her youth and would always spoil them with her delicious homemade treats. She was a true matriarch, and her wisdom and guidance will continue to influence her family for generations to come.

Ignacia will always be remembered for her infectious smile, her kindness, and her unwavering love for her family. She touched the lives of so many people, and her absence will be deeply felt. However, we are consoled by the fact that she is now reunited with her husband, who passed away several years before her.

Rest in peace, Ignacia, you will be missed more than words can express.
