Irene WebsterOn Saturday, November 2nd 2013 the Lord peacefully embraced Irene. Irene was born on December 11, 1915 in Prosser Nebraska, to Clyde and Clara Maxfield. She was married on August 12, 1935 to her best friend and constant companion, Dan Webster, in Hot Springs, South Dakota. Dan preceded her in death, on December 9th 2004. They moved to Kent, Washington in December of 1936, where they owned a feed store and a grocery store for many years. They then moved to Ellensburg, Washington in 1954. Irene and Dan were ranchers, real estate business owners, and very active in the community.Irene was affiliated with the United Methodist Church and the Ellensburg Golf and Country Club. Irene is survived by her children Clydene (Vince) Provinzano of San Diego, CA, Ron (Sherrye) Webster of Bothell, WA, Barbara Webster (Yara Petry) of Portland, OR, Lloyd (Karen) Webster of St. George, UT., and Craig Webster of Vancouver, WA., 12 Grandchildren, and 16 Great-Grandchildren and a Great-Great-Grandchild. She has numerous nieces and nephews and one surviving sister, Adah Knapstad of Kennewick, WA., and preceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.Irene will be truly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones.In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Kittitas Valley Firefighters Life Support Fund, 102 N. Pearl St., Ellensburg, WA 98926. Donations may be made through Steward & Williams Tribute Center.A time of visitation is planned 9:30am-10:30am, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Steward & Williams Tribute Center, Ellensburg, WA. Burial will follow at 11am, at the High Valley Cemetery, 2521 Robinson Canyon Road, Ellensburg, WA. A Memorial Service is planned for 1pm, the same day, at the United Methodist Church, 201 N. Ruby Street, Ellensburg, WA. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Steward & Williams Tribute Center.
