Frank, Iris Patricia Donner Iris Patricia Donner Frank, 81, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on May 18, 1935, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Herbert and Helen Donner. Iris resided most recently in Atlanta, GA, but has lived across the country in Cambridge, MA, Palo Alto, CA, Villanova, PA, West Lafayette, IN, and in Singapore. Iris attended
Northwestern University and later received her MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She retired as a Director of Finance from The Carter Center in 2001. She was deeply devoted to her family and friends. Iris loved volunteering, discussing current affairs, classical music, breeding dogs, and always loved learning new things. She believed strongly in the acceptance and equality of all people. Iris is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronald Edward Frank; daughters, Lauren Frank of Scottsdale, AZ, and Kimberly Tsao and her husband, David, of Aurora, IL; grandson, Jeffrey Tsao; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Barbara Donner of Fox Point, WI; and many more loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Frank. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta and or to the Endowment Fund of Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta, 1911 Cliff Valley Way, NE, Atlanta, GA 30329. A celebration of Iris' life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2017, with a reception to follow at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta, 1911 Cliff Valley Way NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.
