Isabelle C. NewcomerNew OxfordIsabelle C. Newcomer, 97, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Brethren Home Village at Cross Keys.Isabelle was born on March 23, 1920 in Brogueville. She was the daughter of the late Oliver C. and Sadie Arnetta (Russell) Curran.She retired as a bookkeeper from the Yorktowne Hotel. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church York.A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday November 3, 2017 at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Ave. with the Rev. Dr. Alan Watt officiating.  There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. in the Nicarry Meeting House of the Brethren Home Community in New Oxford.Isabelle is survived by a daughter, Marena Colgan Stambach and husband, Guy "Gene" Stambach, of New Oxford; two granddaughters, Amy Stambach of Madison, WI and Susan Stambach (Sampson) of Andover MA; three great-grandsons, Isaac Stambach Bershady, 22, of Madison, WI, John Guy Sampson, 20, and William Foster Sampson,16, both of Andover, MA.
