Jack A. Quisno, Sr.PORT CLINTON: Jack A. Quisno, Sr., 79, of Port Clinton, OH passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the ER at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born on April 21, 1938 in Toledo, OH to Dale and Thelma (Flegle) Quisno. Jack graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1958. On July 23, 1959 in Oak Harbor, OH he married Kay Morse, and she survives. He served in the U.S. Air Force and National Guard. He was a part owner and operator of the former Dale & Jack's Gulf in Oak Harbor and a longtime farmer in Bay Township, OH. Later, Jack worked as a supervisor in industrial motor repair for REMS in Tiffin and Toledo, and then at Bennett Electric in Columbus, OH. He was attending the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church and was a former member of Church of the Saviour in Westerville, OH. Jack was one of the original founders of the Mid County E.M.S. and was an Ohio High School Track official. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and volunteering in the community. He also enjoyed being a jokester and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.In addition to his wife, Kay, of 57 years, he is survived by his son, Jack A. Quisno, Jr. of Findlay, OH, daughter, Kristen M. (Robert) Quisno-Witt of Oak Harbor, sister, Lois Held of Port Clinton, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Donald Held.Memorial services for Jack will be conducted by Pastor Rob Rakay 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH, with visitation two hours prior from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Jack may be given to the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church or Mid-County E.M.S. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
