Jack David Linn Jack David Linn died peacefully in his home on July 4, 2016 in Hilton Head, South Carolina at the age of 89. Jack is survived by his wife of 64 years Juliana A. Linn. Jack is preceded in death by his brother Adam Linn and sister Alvine Bethune. He is also survived by his children and families; Richard and Julie Linn, David and Paulette Linn and Jamie and Scott Phillips. Jack was also survived by his six grandchildren and families; Nathan Linn, Elizabeth Linn, Christy and Kevin Rivera, Christopher and Lisa Phillips, Stephanie and Charles N. Nessle, Angela Phillips and his great-grandchildren; Andrew and Jenna Phillips and Noah Nessle. Jack was born on April 16, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He served in the Navy during World War II. Received a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in chemistry, from Thiel College. Attended Northwestern - Kellogg School of Management and Columbia - Averell Harriman School of Management. His career at PPG Industries lasted for 31 years. He was a deacon at church, golfer and made wood working items for family, friends and the church. A memorial service is scheduled for July 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. First Presbyterian Church, 540 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head, SC 29928. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jack's life.
