Jackson Todd, a beloved member of the Tuscaloosa community, passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 83. He was born on February 4, 1941, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he would spend the majority of his life.

Throughout his life, Jackson was known for his unwavering dedication to his career. He worked as a high school teacher for over four decades, shaping the minds of countless students and leaving a lasting impact on their lives. His passion for education was evident in everything he did, and he truly made a difference in the lives of those he taught.

Outside of his career, Jackson was a man of many talents and interests. He had a passion for gardening and spent hours tending to his beautiful backyard garden, cultivating an array of colorful flowers and lush greenery. He also had a love for woodworking and could often be found in his workshop, crafting intricate pieces of furniture for his home.

Despite not having any children of his own, Jackson was a beloved uncle and godfather to many nieces, nephews, and children of close friends. He always had a kind word and a listening ear for those in need, and his gentle spirit and wise advice were cherished by all who knew him.

Jackson will be remembered for his warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to his community. He touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
