Jacob C. Stanton passed away on May 9, 2019. He spent his last days at Washington Hospital, surrounded by friends and family, laughter and “Star Wars.” Our gentle giant fought a hard, yet brief, battle with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma.
The oldest son of Susan and Tom, Jacob was born in 1973 in Santa Clara. The Great White Hopeless graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1992, and went on to earn his degree in Accounting from Evergreen Valley College. He worked for True-Tech (now Jabil) for almost 20 years, most of that time as an Estimator. Jacob and Jessamine were married in 2008, and welcomed their son Gordon in 2014.
He is survived by his wife Jessamine and son Gordon; parents Thomas and Susan; brother Brian, his wife Kristine, and their children Bennett and Vivienne.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, May 30th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Mariani’s Inn & Restaurant. (2500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara CA.)
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to the Washington Hospital Critical Care Pavilion. (Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation, 2000 Mowry Ave, Fremont CA 94538.)
You can to the family or in memory of Jacob Stanton.
