Funeral services for Jacob will be held at 12:30 pm, Monday, July 31, 2017 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Interment with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm following funeral services in the Iowa Veteran Cemetery. Jacob was born on May 3, 1965 in Keosauqua, Iowa to Clarence and Dorothy (Jackson) Hootman. After high school Jacob joined the United States Army and served in the Gulf War. Jacob is survived by his mother, Dorothy Stump and stepfather George Stump Sr. of Dickenson, North Dakota; brother George(Cory)Stump of Dickenson, North Dakota and sister, Linda(John)Jacunski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
