Jacob Gerald Kaufmann1995 - 2016Jacob Gerald Kaufmann, 21, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2016, in Milwaukee.Jacob was born on June 27, 1995, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to William and Kari (Akstulewicz) Kaufmann. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Bradford High School. Jacob would have been starting his senior year at Marquette University this fall as a finance and accounting major where his hard work earned him a spot in their Applied Investment Management program.Jacob was employed at Alpha Investment Consulting Group, LLC, Milwaukee, interning as an analyst.Time spent up north was special to Jacob. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, water skiing, snowmobiling and just being outdoors. Jacob also loved family vacations, especially scuba diving in Cozumel. He was a member of the Marquette waterski team and fishing club.Jacob was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, Marquette Golden Eagles, Wisconsin Badgers and the Milwaukee Brewers.Survivors include his parents, Bill and Kari; and siblings, Jenna, Alec and Matthew. He is also survived by maternal grandparents, Gerald and Kathleen Akstulewicz; paternal grandfather, Denis Kaufmann; aunts and uncles, Andy (Terri) Akstulewicz, Sue (Gary) McDonald, Toni (Kim) Flegler, Joe (Judy) Kaufmann, Kathy (Dave) Loberg, Mary (Souvana) Sibou; cousins, Abe and Sam Akstulewicz, Greg and Patrick Woodard, Scott (Heather) McDonald, Kelly (Ryan) Tuley, Ryan (Heather) Schroeder, Jenny (Mike) Niemczyk, Liza (Russ) Oestriech, Amber (Mike) Simonds, Angela (Luke) McEldowney, Allyson Kaufmann, Sarah, Amy, Megan and Lindsey Loberg, Ashley and Michael Sibou, Kristy (Arthur) Tabongphet, Suclah and Sarah Sibou, Nicholas (Melanie) Insichienmay; and his faithful dog, Molly.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gloria (Kozlowski) Kaufmann; and aunt and uncle, Shirley and Bill Monroe.Jacob always had a way to make those around him laugh. His dedication and kindness to others and contagious laugh will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 30, at 12 noon at St. Anne Catholic Church, 9001 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be private.
