Jacqueline Elizabeth Scott was born September 22, 1945, in Painter, Virginia, and was raised in Yonkers and Tuckahoe, New York. She attended Commerce High School in Yonkers, New York.
During her adulthood, she worked as a factory worker at Duracell Company in Cleveland, Tennessee. She spent her life caring for others and met no strangers.
She is preceded in death by her father, Leurell Jacobs, Sr., mother, Katie Elizabeth Carden, bothers, David Jacobs, John E. Jacobs, sisters, Florence Holland and Patricia Robinson, and nephews, Gregory “Bubbles” Holland and Darrell “Poopie” Holland.
She is survived by her brothers, Leurell “Junnie” Jacobs, Jr of California, Jr, Jonathan Gregory Jacobs of New York, and Bernard G. Jacobs of California.
She has three daughters, Deneen Michelle Scott of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Danita Marcella Scott of New York, New York, and Demeshia Scott Ware (Nicholas) of Atlanta, Georgia. Her three grandchildren were the loves of her life: Christopher Williams, Synaia Ware, and Brooklyn Ware. In addition, to her grandchildren, she helped raise her great nephews Sincere Shakarr Robinson and Shaquon Nathaniel Moore, and great niece Sharnae Nechele Parks who were like her sons and daughter.
She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly:
Kenneth Allen Holland, Sean Sterling Robinson (Felecia), Sharnette Nechele Robinson,
Janelle Jacobs, Derrick Jacobs, Alex Jacobs, Johnny Jacobs, Gloria Jacobs, Shaina Jacobs, and Sean Jacobs.
In addition, she was loved by a host of great nieces, nephews, friends, coworkers, and other family members.
