Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5410 Buffalo Gap RD. Entombment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.Jackie was born on October 17, 1971 in Rochester, NY. Her parents were Wanda A. Ford and Richard F. Ford. She was a graduate of Cooper High School and Cisco College in Abilene. Jackie was a receptionist/secretary at Holy Family Catholic Church for several years, and for the past 12 years a receptionist/secretary at St. Paul United Methodist Church.She was a long-time volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Jackie had many interests but her major loves were her own family and her church family, and the feelings from her family were mutual. She was loved and respected by all who came into contact with her. Jackie touched many lives and will be missed. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.Her grandparents, mother, and sisters, Lisa Ford and Sherry Ford preceded her in death.Survivors include, her son, Richard A. Ford and wife Kortni; her daughter, Sheri Lynd; grandchildren, Matthew Schackleford, Emalee Ford and Natalee Ford; her parents, Richard F. and Judy A. Ford; sisters, Nancy Mayer and husband Joe of Evansville, Indiana, Cathy Schwanke of St. Petersburg, Florida and Kristin Wyrick of Abilene; aunt, Bridget Sheehy of Aurora, Colorado; uncle, John Keeler and wife Ellen of Lafayette, Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephew and cousins in Texas, Colorado, Indiana and Rochester, New York; and a special friend, Roy Diaz and family.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 525 Beech St, Abilene, Texas 79601Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at
