ALEXANDRIA, Ky. – Jacqueline Jones "Jacey" Potts, 37, of Alexandria, formerly of Carrollton, Ky., died Friday, March 31, 2017. She was born on Jan. 26, 1980 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky., the daughter of John F. Jones, III and Marsha Jean Foster Jones of Carrollton. She was a graduate of Carroll County High School and Indiana University Kelly School of Business. She was the Program Development Director of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati. She was formerly employed with Ohio Valley Voices, a school which works with children who have Cochlear Implants. Her passion was to aid and assist our youth whom didn't have her opportunities. She is survived by her husband, Brian Joseph Potts of Alexandria; her parents of Carrollton; her daughter, Caroline Grace Potts of Alexandria; her brother, Jay (Christie) Jones of Independence, Ky.; her paternal grandmother, Rosemary L. Jones of Rensselaer, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Justus and Freida Foster; and her paternal grandfather, John F. Jones, Jr. Funeral services will be on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton with the Rev. Pat Butcher officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 6, from 5-8 p.m. at the Family Worship Center. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in care of the funeral home.
