RACINE - Jacqueline Marriette (nee: Dubuque) Small passed away at her residence on Monday, January 4, 2016. A lifelong resident of Racine, Jacqueline was born on October 15, 1931, the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (nee: Plante) Dubuque. Jacqueline, the Little Firecracker graduated from St Catherine High School, Class of 1949. On June 16, 1951 at St Marys Catholic Church, she married the handsome soldier and love of her life, Wallace William Small, who preceded her in death on August 20, 2011. They celebrated 60 glorious years of marriage on June 16, 2011. Jacqueline also fulfilled her promise to her parents and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts - Music in June of 1974 from Dominican College of Racine. Upon retirement, Wallace and Jacqueline traveled throughout the country with car, bicycles, canoe and tent. They traveled to every State of the Union, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, every Province of Canada, Ireland, and Slovakia. Raised a devout Catholic, Jacqueline used her time and talents as the organist at both St Marys and Holy Trinity Catholic Churches. From Wallace and Jacquelines devoted union and all because Two people fell in love, 12 children were born and raised and it was often said that it was not only 12 times the work, 12 times the arguments and 12 times the headaches
but 12 times the fun. Jacqueline will be dearly missed more than 12 times over. She is survived by her twelve children, Kathleen Hagen, Theresa (John) Craddock Sr., James (Michelle) Small, Susan (James Findlay) Small, Daniel (Victoryia) Small, Cynthia (Eddie) Martin, Timothy (Ann) Small, Jennifer Small, Mary Small, Lorraine (James) Matson, Rev. Fr. Jeffery Small, and Andrew (Lori Jo) Small: 24 grandchildren , Kathleens children, Patricia (Michael) Drews, Michael Hagen, and Jessica (Antonio) Rodriguez; Theresas daughter, Amber Craddock; James sons, Cullen (Shannon) Small, Shea, Cody and Cameron Small; Daniels children, Amanda and Trevor Small; Cynthias children, Joshua (April) Driver, Nicole and Brittany Driver; Timothys daughters, Jessica (Jason) Mazurkiewicz and Rebecca Small; Jennifers son, Scott (Samantha) Hall; Marys children, Joni (Matthew) Sturino and Brett Sorensen; Lorraines children, Erik, Kyle and Anna Matson; Andrews daughters, Rachel, Charlotte and Abigail Small; 23 great-grandchildren, Kathleens grandchildren, Patricias son, Brecker, Michaels daughter, Hailie, Jessicas daughter, Tora, Theresas granddaughters, Danisha, Annika and Amari; James granddaughter, Cullens daughter, Gwynne, Daniels grandchildren, Amandas children, Benjamin and Gabrielle, Cynthias grandchildren, Joshuas daughters, Alexis, Amaya and Ava, Nicoles son, Pierre and Brittanys daughter, Brianna (Little Jackie); Timothys grandchildren, Jessicas children, McKaela, Aiden and Harper; Jennifers grandchildren, Gabriel, Macy and Preston (Little Wally); Marys grandsons, Jonis sons, Matthew, Dominic and Graham. Jacqueline is further survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Donald Trimberger, many nieces and nephews and one cousin, Deborah Szuhai, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ethel Dubuque, husband, Wallace Small, in-laws, Joseph and Esther Small, Sr., sister-in-laws and brother-in-law, Joseph and Deloris Small, Jr. and Elizabeth Felton, and one niece, Eileen Anderson. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St Josephs Catholic Church, 1533 Eric St, Racine, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m., Graveside services immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy 32 Douglas Ave. Memorials may be directed to the National Right to Life, Concerned Women for America or the .
