JACQUELINE A. STEWART, 82 FREEPORT - Jacqueline "Jackie" A. Stewart, 82, of Freeport, died, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Pearl Pavilion. Jackie was born on August 24, 1933 in Freeport, the daughter of John and Florence (Wienand) MacKenzie. She married Alfred "Whitey" Stewart on July 25, 1953. Mr. Stewart passed away on August 31, 2008. Jackie worked at Crum and Forster Insurance for 20 years. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ. She enjoyed baking, taking care of her home, and watching old movies. Surviving are her son, Scott (Luann) Stewart of Freeport; daughter, Alana "Lani" (Chuck) Shaw of Freeport; brother, Robert (Rose) Mackenzie of Cedarville; cousin, Ronald Mackenzie of Freeport; 4 grandchildren, Troy (Rachel) Stewart, Kristi (Kevin) Walz, Amy (Troy) Ozley, and Lindsay (Brian) DeLonjay. Also surviving are 8 great-grandchildren, Rylie, Austin, Landon, Bryson, Taylor, Chase, Luke, and Liam. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday December 7, 2015 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Rev. Nayiri Karjian will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs.
