We regret to announce the death of JACQUELINE ZENNA GOLDING (née Lowthorpe and previously Carter) who passed away on 10 December 2016 at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, Surrey, UK in her 74th year.Jacqueline was born on 4 August 1943 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK to Zenna (née Robinson) and Raymond Lowthorpe and spent her childhood between Bermuda and the UK. In her early adulthood Jacqueline was an aspiring actress before training as a nurse. In 1966, she married Stephen Golding in Hinchley Wood, Surrey, UK. In 1975, she moved to Bermuda with her mother and her son Paul. She married the late Dennis Carter in 1977 and eventually lived at Shelton House, Shelton Road, Devonshire. Jacqueline set up the restaurant The Rising Sunwich on Middle Road, Southampton, before opening The Tuck Shop in Hamilton on Victoria Street (now Prime's Place). In 1997, Jacqueline returned to the UK and settled in Claygate, Surrey.Jacqueline is survived by her son Paul and brother Rhoderick.A memorial service is being held at St Mark's Church in Whiteley Village, Surrey (her final home) on 10 January 2017. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to two of Jacqueline's favourite charities, Diabetes UK and Tibet Relief Fund.
