LAURINBURG — Jacquelynn Neuendorf Lankford, 68, passed away on March 28, 2016 at Morrison Manor.
Jacquelynn was a daughter of Jean Seip Bolton and the late Walter Glenn Neuendorf born on July 14, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. She loved her job as a teacher with Trinity Presbyterian preschool. She served as a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder, Sunday School teacher and leader of the children's TLC Group.
She received the Faithful Saint Award from the Presbytery of Coastal Carolina in 2015.
She was a strong woman who touched the lives of many. Jacquelynn wished to be remembered as a good Christian woman who lived her life as a servant to family, friends and especially children of all ages.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Jim Lankford, Jr. of their home in Laurinburg, son James Lankford, III of Hialeah, Florida, daughters Jacqeline Turner of Toms River, New Jersey and Jennifer Lankford of the home, her mother Jean S. Bolton of Orange Park, Florida, brother Jan Allen Neuendorf also of Orange Park, grandchildren Sarah Murphy, Megan Buckler and Victoria Tyner, and two great-grandchildren: Rylee Murphy and Reese Mullins.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, Jacquelynn requested that memorial donations be given in her memory to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
