Jahmir Moore was born on April 30, 1994, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Mia Moore and Travis Mosley. Jahmir was affectionately known by his family and friends as ‘JJ’.
At an early age, it was known that JJ was destined for big things. As a child, he had a small body, but a big heart & personality. He was known for his high energy and ability to get people's attention just with his presence. When most people would back down, JJ would stand up. He loved basketball and would walk miles in the rain, sleet, or snow to the nearest court to play.
JJ was educated in Putnam City & Oklahoma City Public Schools, finishing at Northwest Classen HS. He also earned several certifications as a skilled worker in his adult life.
JJ departed this life on August 10, 2022. He was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents John & Betty Moore. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Janiyah Moore, who he adored, and her mother T'Keyah Flowers(OKC), his mother, who was his heart, Mia Moore(OKC) his father Travis Mosley(Houston, Tx), his sister and best friend, Jasmine Smith, and her husband Dantrell, nephews Javon Moore and Jamarcus Carr(Houston, Tx), his uncle John Moore and his favorite cousin Travanna Williams(OKC), and a host of family and friends.
JJ valued loyalty, and always stood up for his friends and family. He touched countless lives in his time on earth; and is now resting in the presence of his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. We will all miss him, and we honor his memory by showing each other the love he showed us.
