We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jake Smith, who was born on March 7, 1953, in Live Oak, Florida, United States. He peacefully left this world on March 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Jake was the beloved son of John Smith and Willie Earl Smith. In 1988, he married the love of his life, Marcia Smith, and together they had 9 children: Ronnie Jane Smith (spouse Andrea Smith), Farrell Smith, Darrell Smith (spouse Mary Smith), Sophia Smith, Annette Smith, John Smith, Amy Smith, and Jack Smith. He was a dedicated grandfather to 10 grandchildren.(Latifah Smith , Darresha Smith , Dalrianna Smith , Ciara Smith , Roderick Smith , Anna Smith , Francesca Smith , Kendrick Smith , Claudia Smith , Racheal Smith .

Jake dedicated many years of his life to working at Smiths Milking Company, where he eventually retired in 1999. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, riding horses, and spending quality time with his grandchildren.

On March 1, 2026, Jake passed away due to a sudden heart attack. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
