Jameica A Woodard-Robertson Obituary

Oct 15, 1978 - Jun 18, 2024

This obituary is administered by:

Jameica A. Woodard-Robertson passed on from this life on June 18th, 2024. She was born on October 15th, 1978 to Pamela Brethea in New Bern, North Carolina. Jameica was known for her unconditional love as she always cared and looked out for anybody no matter who the person was. She always knew how to spread love to everyone while disregarding what she was dealing with in her personal life. No matter how bad her life was looking she always kept a smile on her face and trusted God through the midst of it all.

Born and raised in New Bern, NC, Jameica was the life of the party, where she never met a stranger who didn’t end up loving her. She was loved everywhere she went for being herself and always having a smile on her face that lit up every room she entered. Jameica loved to work, joke, laugh, travel, and visit with family and friends. Not only that, but Jameica loved being a mom. Jameica was a wonderful mother who knew how to give the best advice to her kids without being harsh or mean. She instilled in her kids to always stick with one another and to always trust God through whatever circumstances. Her favorite thing to tell anyone was to always “PRAY ABOUT IT”. She knew life was never easy and she took everything that she learned growing up to teach her kids to be as strong and loving as she was. Jameica was very passionate about her kids, family, as well as people she even worked with. Showing love to all is what Jameica was so good at doing.

Jameica’s memory is carried on through her beloved children: Brionna Robertson, Omari Robertson, and Jacob Robertson; she is also survived by her siblings: Misty Woodard, Marcus McDaniel, Naya Brethea, Margatia Thomas, Hermita Blaise, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, June 25th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St. Danbury, CT. 06810) with interment to follow later in North Carolina.
