It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Bernard of Harvey, Illinois, United States. James was born on April 11, 1946, to his loving parents James and Mary Bernard.
He is survived by his devoted spouse, Gloria Estefan-Bernard, with whom he shared 26 years of marriage. Together, they raised four children: Maureen, Wayne, Richard, and James. James was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren.
James attended Thornton High School before continuing his studies at South Suburban College. He had a passion for hobbies such as chess, church, and dressing well.
James was known for his kindness, dedication to his family, and his unwavering faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
