James Shepard, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 79. He was born on November 9, 1944, to James and Leora Shepard.

James married his beloved wife, Teresa Shepard, in 1960 and together they raised four children: Teresa, Derick (with spouse Tracy), Angelo (with spouse Patricia), and Leo (with spouse Mary). He was also a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren.

James attended Bridgeport High School and graduated in 1961. He went on to work at IBM, where he dedicated many years before retiring in 2010.

Throughout his life, James enjoyed painting and spending time with his family. He had a passion for creativity and always brought joy to those around him.

James will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
