James Luster, 73, of Brainerd, Minnesota, passed on July 18, 2023. James was born on January 1, 1950 Frank and Dorothy (Brown) Luster in Bemidji Minnesota. His family moved to Brainerd in 1956 in Brainerd. He made lifelong friends who would remain in his circle of close friends throughout his life and he gained the nickname ace in his teenage years. He graduated from Brainerd high school in 1971 in May 1975 James started working for you, as well as which later became quest phone company he retired from quest in March 2016 as an engineer manager

James enjoyed reading deer hunting, spending time with his family and friends, chefs, computers, photograph, music, and fishing with his father. He was a founding member of let’s go fission. He was proud of his 30 years of sobriety that began October 5, 1991 James was a son, father, figure a brother, an uncle, and a good friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

James survived by his sister, Jill Luster(Earnest), Cynthia, white Kim Miller, K Miller, his nieces, Cheri, Luster, Victorya Luster, Cherrille Schwab, Twaquela, Luster, nephews Dustin Miller (Johnetta), Earnest, Luster, and a house of cousins and extended family

James is proceeded by his parents and grandparents.
