James "Jim" A. Scullen, age 57 of Painesville, previous owner/operator of Pure Image Video, died on January 25, 2017 at David Simpson Hospice House. He was born on March 15, 1959 in Berea, the beloved son of James (deceased) and Joan (nee: Vingle) Scullen. Husband of Jane (nee: Alberti); step-father of David (Melody) Bitkowski, Mark (Kim) Bitkowski, Amy (Carl) Morton; father of Jonathan Dibler; grandfather of Melissa, Morgan, and Colin; brother of Bob (Terri) Scullen, Gina Natko, Linda (Donald) Payne, Cathy (Brian) Scott, Pat Scullen, Rita Scullen, Rick (Lynette) Scullen, and the late Tom Scullen, uncle of many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved dog, Nellie. A memorial gathering will be held on February 4, 2017 from Noon to 1 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave. (opposite Lake Erie College) Painesville, Ohio 44077.
