James "Jim" Brian Rohman, age 49, of Oscoda, formerly of Bay City, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016. Jim was born on Dec. 13, 1966 in Riverside, Calif. to William and Chanda Rohman (Swenson). Jim graduated from Oscoda Area High School in 1985. He worked as a machinist for Tawas Powder Coating for over 20 years. Jim was an extremely hard worker and many times throughout his years worked two jobs at once. He enjoyed listening to music, never lost his childhood love of watching his favorite cartoons, and loved socializing and making new friends. Jim is survived by his son, Dylan Rohman; father, William (Karen) Rohman; step-father, Richard Champine Sr.; sister, Diana (Jim) Hadaway; brothers, Bill (Doreena) Rohman, Michael Rohman, Gregory (Dawn) Rohman and Robert (Debbie) Rohman; step-brother, Richard (Robin) Champine and five additional step-brothers and sisters. He is also survived by many special nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Chanda Champine; and sister, JoAnne Rohman. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
