James Caldwell Martin passed away on September 28th, 2015. He was born on December 8th, 1934 in Williamstown, Missouri to David and Henrietta (White) Martin. James was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Patsy and Jeannie, son; Nick and grandson Jacob. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ginger (Marks), sons; Mike (Brenda) and Shawn (Kim), brothers; Roger (Susan), David (Pat) and Earl, and sisters; Marybelle (Bill) and Cindy, grandchildren; Nicki, Jamie, Mysti, Tanner, Tyler, Bradley, Jacob and Josh and 9 great grandchildren.Jim grew up in Missouri where he meet and married Ginger in 1955. He was part of the Army Reserves where he attained the rank of Sergeant. He attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. and Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. He worked for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis in purchasing and contracts for 20 years. In 1977 the family moved to Yuma where they opened The Outhouse and later, The Record Shop and Video Sales and Rentals. He loved to visit with the customers and other merchants in the Southgate Mall in it's heyday.Jim was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with family and friends whether it be a big celebration or small gathering. Along the way he had many special friendships. In his spare time he enjoyed camping and fishing in the White Mountains, keeping everyone's wood pile stocked for winter, collecting coins and just sitting on the patio with good company.Jim had a big heart with an endless supply of giving. We will all miss you. Century Drive in Yuma.
