James Charles CloutierJames Charles Cloutier died on January 11, 2017 in Lansing, Michigan at the age of 63. Jim is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jane; his children Lory, Ben, Sarah (Graham Schmidt), and Nell (Noah Bronstein); and his brothers and sisters. Jim was born on March 5, 1953 in Laurium, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army and graduated from Michigan State University. He worked as a farrier in the greater Lansing area for over 30 years. His knowledge, wit, and competence will be sorely missed.A memorial potluck reception is scheduled for Saturday, January 14 at 12PM at Riverview Church located at 3585 Willoughby Road in Holt. Those who loved Jim are invited to join us and are welcome to bring a dish to pass. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Jim's name to the North Country Trail Association or to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
