Collard, James "Jim"James A. Collard, 74, Green Bay, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 26, 1942 in Green Bay to the late Arthur and Esther (Halverson) Collard. Jim graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1961. On May 14, 1966 he married Cynthia Nowak at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. This year, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary along with their children and grandchildren.Jim loved working on engines. At a young age he bought and repaired a motorcycle which he enjoyed riding for many years. His passion for engines was obvious in his career path as a salesman of motorcycles, cars and lawn & garden equipment. After Jim's retirement he continued to work on his own schedule repairing small engines for his family and friends. Jim was able to pass on his knowledge of engines to his grandson, Evan. One of their most recent projects was building a go cart together. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time at his cottage on Long Lake, riding his bike with friends, annual fishing trips and winter travels to Arizona.Jim is survived by wife, Cynthia; his children, Cristin (Brian) Bowe, DePere and Jason (Tamara) Collard, Scottsdale, AZ; his grandchildren, Olivia, Evan and Joshua Bowe; sister-in-law, Bonnie Collard as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy (Art) Jansen and brother, Tom Collard.Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 1 pm with Rev. John Harper officiating. Online condolences may be expressed
