James DearbornLACONIA, NHNaples, FLJames L. Dearborn, 72, of Foster Ave, formerly of Meredith and Naples, FL., died Thursday, December 29, 2016 in his home after a long illness. He was born on September 5, 1944 in Laconia, the son of the late Fred "Tot" and Antoinette (LaVallee) Dearborn. James worked for several years as a Plumber for Northern Heating and Plumbing and also for Dearborn Plumbing. While living in Meredith, Jim as a gentleman farmer, raising a herd of black angus cows, chickens, geese and horses. He loved animals. Jim also loved kids and went on to coach pop Warner Football and Lou Athanas Youth Basketball for several years. He was a member of the Laconia Elks and a member of the Plumber and Steam Fitters Union. James also wintered in Naples, FL for fifteen years. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Murphy) Dearborn of Laconia, two sons; Jamie S. Dearborn of Laconia and Peter P. Dearborn and his wife Donah of Laconia, three daughters; Nancy Dearborn Richer of Naples, FL, Karen H. Dickson and her husband James of Manchester and Lynne Hegner and her wife Margaux French of Stratham, seven grandchildren, three nieces; Keli, Dori and Hali Dearborn and one nephew, John Dearborn. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers; Paul, Robert and Richard Dearborn. A celebration of life will be held from 1PM to 4 PM on Sunday.
