CARROLLTON, Ky. – James Delmar Pasley Jr., 79, of Carrollton, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at his residence in Carrollton. He was born on Nov. 28, 1936, in Lee County, Ky., the son of the late James Delmar Pasley, Sr., and Della Gross Pasley. He had served his country in the United States Air Force, serving in Germany. After his service time he lived in Dayton, Ohio, then later moved to Carrollton, where he worked and retired as a Night Shift Supervisor for the former Dayton-Walther Corporation in Carrollton. He loved his family and hunting with his many hunting dogs. He was a member of Calvary Full Gospel Church in Carrollton and also a member of the Dallasburg Masonic Lodge No. 621 in Wheatley, Ky., where he had served as Past Master of the Lodge. He will be missed by his daughter, Jennifer Sue Pasley of Jonesville, Ky.; three sisters, Jo McCampbell of Winter Park, Fla.; Glenda Glenn of Lebanon, Ohio; Sue (Charley) Morris of West Carrollton, Ohio; a special nephew, Donald Caldwell of Freedom, Ind.; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma Jean Combs Pasley; two brothers, Gerald Pasley and Dale Pasley; and two sisters, Reva Drake and Eunice Doyle. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave. in Carrollton with the Rev. Bimp McAlister officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 1 – 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery in Wheatley, Ky.
