PRAIRIE DU CHIEN - James E. Sturgeon, 52, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born on August 25, 1960 in Washington D.C., son of James and the late Sigrid Sturgeon. He had previously worked in home construction as a roofer and painter. But, most of all, James was a devoted and loving father to his daughter, Courtney. She was the love of his life. Jimmy will be dearly missed by his daughter, Courtney Barnett; father, James A. Sturgeon; brother, Eric Sturgeon; sister, Monica (Jeff) Bliss, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sigrid, in April of 2007.
