James Elmer Lewis, beloved husband, father, and Great grandfather, passed away on October 27, 2024, in Chandler, Arizona with his immediate family by his side. He was born on November 4, 1949, in Mesa, AZ a Rare and true Arizona Native living a full and vibrant life.
James was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and infectious laugh. He had a passion for Numbers and all things trivia. He loved life and lived every day to the fullest traveling across the country several times and lived in multiple states. He had a love for the outdoors and spent as much time as possible at the Pacific Ocean.
James was a devoted husband to his wife of 49 years, Nancy, and a loving father to his two children, David (Age 45) and Karen (Age 44 and Spouse Lloyd Sr Age 49). He adored his two grandchildren Lloyd Jr. (Age 23) and Dyamond (Age 22) and Great Grandchild Gerald (Age 3).
James was a natural born Truck Driver and proud of his Class A CDL. He had a unique gift for helping others manage their finances and plan for the future as well as he was known as the family's human calculator and calendar! He could always be called on to tell a story and give exact date, day of week and time it occurred!
In addition to his professional accomplishments, James was an active member of his Church and going on day drives to take in Nature!
James will be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of all who knew him and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.
He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchild as well as a Brother Raymond Lewis (Age 72) and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.
