It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Guthrie, who was born on February 18, 1987 and passed away on April 23, 2024. James resided in Joliet, Illinois, United States.

He was the beloved son of Keith Guthrie and Georgina Walker. James did not have any children of his own but he was a loving son and a cherished member of his family.

James attended Joliet West High School, where he excelled academically and graduated in 2005. He was a dedicated student who enjoyed learning and aspired to pursue a career in the culinary arts.

Outside of his academic pursuits, James had a variety of hobbies that brought him joy. He was an avid basketball and football fan, and he loved to cook and experiment in the kitchen. James also treasured spending quality time with his family, creating lasting memories with those he held dear.

James will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
