James H. "Jimbo" Rowe, age 69, of Martin, husband of Judee Robinson Rowe, passed away on Thursday, November 3, at Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on September 19, 1947, a son of the late Grover C. and Magdalene Hinton Rowe. He was a retired coal truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, Judee, he is survived by three daughters: Renee (Randy) Cook, of Drift, Sherry Kay Crace and Dawn Rowe both of Martin, two brothers, Billy (Shelia) Rowe, of Allen and Bobby (Teresa) Rowe, of Beaver, one sister; Brenda (Kenneth) Wells, of Maricpoa, Arizona, eight grandchildren; Kayla (Seth Moore) Crace, Stacia (Bobby)Harless, Cody (Audrey Smith) Cook, Daniel "DJ" Belcher, Austin (Racheal)Cook, Jade (Dillion) Smallwood, Cameron (Ashley)Crace, Landon Crace and ten great grandchildren; Kiley, Kayden, Karson, Kyson, Aiden, Kinsley, Kiland, Kane, Madison, Khloe, son-in-law, Greg Crace and mother-in-law, Alice Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Ronnie Rowe, one brother, Kermit Rowe, and one sister, Glenda Rowe. Visitation was held after 6 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at Hall Funeral Home in Martin.
Funeral service for Rowe were conducted on Sunday, November 6 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Church of Christ ministers officiating. Burial followed in the Rowe Family Cemetery in Martin.
